On Nov 10th, sponsored by Office of Jilin Cyberspace Administration, "Hello World, I’m Jilin"-2018 China-friendly Netizens in Jilin was officially launched. On Nov 12th, netizens from the United States, Australia, Bangladesh, France, Indonesia, Korea, Thailand, and Ukraine visited Jingyuetan National Scenic Area, FAW, Changchun World Sculpture Park, and from ecological civilization, automobile culture, and sculpture culture and other aspects to discover the “International Style” of Changchun.

In the morning of Nov 12th, international netizens visited Jingyuetan National Scenic Area and learned about the achievement of Changchun’s ecological protection.

Jingyuetan National Scenic Area has the largest area of artificial forest in China, and is the AAAAA tourism site, scenic spot at the national level and outdoor activity base at the national level. The lake is surrounded by artificial forest that covers 8000 hectare, which has made ecological environment very unique here. Therefore, Jingyuetan National Scenic Area has become the ecological core and a “business card” of Changchun.

Recently, the longest separated road showed up in Jingyuetan National Scenic Area. The road separates pedestrians from the vehicles. It has improved the quality of the tourist site, built Jingyuetan National Scenic Area into the outdoor activity base at national level, and laid foundation to the construction of nationwide fitness and sports tourism territory. Dufu Wen, Australian professor from Deakin University listened to the introduction of pedestrian-vehicle separating road carefully when he was walking on the road.

Dufu Wen is working in communication and international relation, and he has done research on the Belt and Road, Australia and China relation, international education cooperation and tourism development. “I have been to many southern Chinese cities, and Jingyuetan National Scenic Area in northeast China surprised me as well. Artificial forest and artificial lake not only protects the environment but also contributes to the development of outdoor recreation. In addition, the park is not far away from the urban area. Compared with other cities I have been before, the ecological environment here is well-protected. I think this is important for Changchun to develop tourism,” said Dufu Wen.

In Chinese people’s heart, the brand Hongqi has an irreplaceable position, and Hongqi automobile is well-known in China. People in Changchun are proud of it.

In 2007, FAW Hongqi Automobile Culture Exhibition Center was built up. It covers an area of 3000 square meters. Limousines in different periods, document literature and photos are on display here.

Woo Jong Beom, council member of FACTTV in Korea said, “Changchun is the cradle of vehicle industry. The exhibition center is a new industrial tourist site for people to understand the history of Chinese vehicle industry and discover the vehicle culture.”

In the afternoon of Nov 12th, international netizens visited Changchun World Sculpture Park to know about the cultural symbol that connects Changchun with the world. Changchun World Sculpture Park is AAAAA tourist site in China. After it was opened in 2003, the park has become an important platform for international statuary art. The sculptures and natural landscape attracted international netizens’ attention.

Changchun World Sculpture Park covers an area of 92 hectare, and 9207 sculptures from 216 countries are evenly distributed in the park. What is worth mentioning is that the park exhibits five art pieces of Auguste Rodin. Changchun World Sculpture Park now has the most sculptures compared with other sculpture parks in China, and it is the only Chinese that has the original work of Auguste Rodin.

“These sculptures have not only high artistic value, but also high collection value,” said Xin Tian, Bangladeshi photographer.

After a day’s trip, French tourism expert Yann said, “I think Changchun has its own city orientation. It is a city of forest, a city of vehicle, a city of sculpture, and a city of film. The whole city is very charming, especially the sculpture park. Some sculptures are exhibited indoor and some are exhibited outdoor. This is different from other sculpture parks. Also, the sculptures in the gallery are evenly distributed, which is the prefect combination of light and art, so I can take good photos of these sculptures. I love cities with atmosphere of statuary art.”
